cradle coast outrigger canoe club - tasmania

The Cradle Coast Outrigger Canoe Club (CCOCC Inc) was established by local outrigger enthusiasts to provide the community with an exciting water sport which is available to all ages, and packaged in a family orientated environment fostering participation and fitness.

Cradle Coast Outriggers - Tasmania

The Cradle Coast Outrigger Canoe Club welcomes all visitors - from active and competitive paddlers to beginners.

it's about teamwork, keeping fit, making friends, having fun, and the ocean...

The club offers a framework and facilities for the business community on Tasmania's north west coast to come together and participate in Corporate Regattas, offering the opportunity for friendly competition, team building sessions and the strengthening and enhancement of business relationships within and outside the workplace.

The Cradle Coast Outrigger Canoe Club supports local schools through specialised coaching clinics and development programs. Sporting and Community Groups are also encouraged to participate in the sport, so that the public have the opportunity to experience water sports and to enjoy a team environment, without the constraints of joining a Surf Club and entering into its commitments.

As part of its vision, the Cradle Coast Outrigger Canoe Club intends to participate in local community initiatives, such as Burnie Shine, Tulip Festival and the Devonport Regatta, and to hold state based and national regattas, which could have potential benefits to the tourism industry on Tasmania's north west coast.
